Mail Order Open Year Round
Shipping Cheese in Hot Weather
We try to pack the cheese well for shipping in hot weather but our packaging has its limits. When it is extremely hot and it doesn’t get below 70 degrees at night, then we hold the packages until the weather is a bit better. When you place an order, we do let you know when we are able to ship the package. If you provide us with an e-mail, you may also track your package as it travels to its destination.
Shipping Cheese in Warm Weather
When shipping cheese outside of the Northeast, we recommend choosing the insulation option to keep the cheese from sweating during shipping. The cheese will start out with ice and at refrigerated temps. The cold pack will not be cold when the package arrives at its destination but unless delayed for more than 5 days, the cheese will have stayed below 70 degrees which is perfect for shipping cheese.
If the transit shipping time is more than 4 days, we recommend choosing a faster shipping method when your package has Cheese in it. You can check the transit times for shipping at this webpage by looking at the USA Map: https://webstore.harmanscheese.com/shipping
