Ruth’s Mustards were inspired by a grandmother’s recipe, passed down through the generations to her granddaughter, Laurel. Over the years, Laurel has developed more mustard flavors and each has a distinct and delicious flavor. Ed and Laurel retired this year, and have sold the business to The Belknap Food Shed (formerly Genuine Local), where Ed made the mustards in the past few years. They continue on with Laurel’s grandmother’s recipe’s keeping the tradition alive.

Chunky Horseradish Mustard: Good on everything! A thinner mustard, great for dipping.
Ingredients: Cane Sugar, White Vinegar, Horseradish, Ground Yellow Mustard.
Chunky Garlic Mustard: Another great mustard to try! A thinner mustard, great for dipping.
Ingredients: White Vinegar, Horseradish, Ground Yellow Mustard, Cane Sugar, Garlic Cloves, Granulated Garlic
Chunky Jalapeno Mustard: The heat will come. Fantastic on a hamburger, hot dog, or mixed in a macaroni and cheese.
Ingredients: Cane Sugar, Distilled White Vinegar, Jalapeno Peppers, & Ground Yellow and Brown Mustard.
Cracked Black Pepper Mustard: This is a peppery… it brought me (Brenda) to tears when I tried it (but I’m a wimp!). Ideal on red and game meats as a marinade or sandwich spread.
Ingredients: Sugar, Vinegar, Ground Dry Mustard, Black Pepper.
Cranberry Mustard – *Harman’s Pick: Fruity Mustard with a Kick! A Versatile condiment; perfect on turkey, ham, or on Harman’s cheddar cheese. This is our first choice of mustard for many of our holiday combination gifts as it pairs perfectly with Harman’s Cheddar.
Ingredients: Cane Sugar, White Vinegar, Dried Cranberries, & Ground Yellow Mustard
Hot & Sweet Mustard: More Sweet than Hot. This is the Original Ruth’s Mustard to compliment any meat, vegetable, or cheese. Delicious as a sandwich spread, or dip.
Ingredients: Cane Sugar, White Vinegar, & Ground Yellow Mustard.
Maple Mustard: Coarse ground Mustard. Great compliment to pork, baked beans, and as a dip or used as a rub on meats. Made with real New Hampshire maple syrup. Due to the cost of Maple Syrup this mustard is a bit more expensive than the others.
Ingredients: Maple Syrup, White Vinegar, Coarse Ground Mustard, Pure Maple Extract.
Raspberry Mustard: This is a sweet mustard; perfect for marinades and dipping everything from pretzels to chicken.
Ingredients: Mustard, Raspberries, White Vinegar, Cane Sugar.
Sweet Grillin’ Glaze Mustard: I know we aren’t supposed to tamper with other people’s labels but I really think that calling this mustard, a “Glaze” limits its possibilities. Since this is our webstore, I took the liberty to cross the word “glaze” out. This is a fantastic Mustard for sandwiches and my first choice for a ham sandwich. It is a great mustard both in texture and taste for glazing meats. Laurel recommends trying it on fish or chicken. For something different, try it as a dip.
