Our Region

Sugar Hill, New Hampshire is a small, picturesque town with a strong community spirit. Its name comes from a large grove of sugar maple trees in the hills. Sugar Hill is located in New Hampshire’s scenic western White Mountains area.

It is a perfect destination in any season, with a great variety of natural and man-made attractions, recreation and adventure venues, arts and entertainment, historic sites, and shopping. In early summer, the lupines cover the fields and backroads of Sugar Hill with blue and purple hues, while the Fall foliage envelopes the area in orange, red, and yellow.

Sugar Hill has superb postcard views of the White Mountains that are not to be missed! Route 117 takes you through Sugar Hill and other villages, rivers, waterfalls and working covered bridges that still connect both sides of entire villages.
