Father’s Day is Coming, June 15th
Harman’s Cheddar is a wonderful gift for Dads! We’ll gladly ship it for you. For most of the New England, UPS ground is delivered in one day and the almost all of the Northeast is delivered within 2 days. Due to the warm weather, those of you who want to ship outside of the NorthEast, need to use UPS Air or Priority Mail services and have us pack it in insulation with cold packs.
Or, instead of sending your Dad a gift; bring him to our Sugar Hill store for a FREE half-pound of our Harman’s Really-Aged Cheddar. On Father’s Day, June 15th, all Dads will receive a free gift of Harman’s Cheddar, no purchase required.
Good and Bad News
The Good News is that we have some delicious Products On Sale through Father’s Day. The Bad News is that we are experiencing some steep price increases, so after Father’s Day, we will need to raise prices. Normally a price increase is only a nickle or dime; but since March, some services and products have increased by 25 to 50%. We are trying to offer the best price to you that we can afford.
And we have some more Bad News. To stay profitable and efficient, our co-packer had to retool their facility. Due to this change, they are no longer able to make our Harman’s Cheese Spreads or bake our Cheese Balls. They made one last batch of both our spreads so we still have those to offer you, but we have sold out of our Cheese Balls.
Sugar Hill’s Lupines
The Lupines are blooming later this year and most fields are just now starting to bloom. For those of you who can’t make it here to see them, you can click here to follow this year’s flowering season. The photos below were all taken this week as the first plants started to take off.

Weekends at Harman’s
Weather permitting, we host local artisans each weekend on our lawn . . . but we’ve had rain for 11 weekends in a row and it’s predicted for this Saturday, too! Sunday might be ok, keep your fingers crossed for us!
July 12: Franconia’s Old Home Day
All Day Events, Artisans, Parade, Concert, Fireworks and more . . .
Look for Maxine and Cliff in Sugar Hill’s #2 Fire Truck and see if it completes the parade route. Last year, it made it halfway before it gave out which is better than some years! Good thing the crowd is always there ready to push it off to the side!
