Autumn at Harman’s and 10-year Aged Cheddar

Autumn is Coming!

The air is crisp and the colors of fall are appearing more each day.

Harman’s is open 7 days a week through October 27th, from 9 am to 5 pm.

If you are able to visit us this autumn, check out our webpage for several resources as you plan an Autumn trip. The page also includes the latest photos of the our autumn color. If you aren’t able to visit, you can follow the progress of the autumn color through the website photos.

On the Autumn weekends, we host Artisans through Columbus Day and they offer a wonderful array of items from wood-turning to handmade baskets. There are several autumn events in our area and we list some of them on our our Events Page.

Harman’s 10 and 11-year Aged Cheddar

Again this year, we are offering our Oldest Cheddars as an autumn treat. We have less than 30 pounds of each vintage, so we are limiting it to 2 blocks per customer. It is $30.00 a pound, so this is a cheddar for a special occasion!

This Cheddar was made in May 2014 and May 2015 and has been aging in our walk-in for most of those years! The 11-year Cheddar is ready to ship now but the 10-year Cheddar won’t be shipped until after Sept. 15th. These cheeses are not vacuum-sealed and should be used within 4 weeks of delivery.

If you wish to pick the cheese up in-store rather than have it shipped to you, please e-mail Orders@HarmansCheese.com and we will set the cheese aside for you. If you pick up in store, we will also have a few half-pound blocks available for $17.50 each; but they must be pre-ordered through the e-mail.

Check out all the Autumn Specials in our webstore.

All of us here at Harman’s hope you have a beautiful autumn and we look forward to seeing some of you over the next few weeks.

– Brenda and the entire team at Harman’s

Looking forward to the Holiday Season

We will start accepting orders for the holiday season on Friday, October 31st. Ordering early is best, as we only have 3 shipping weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas and only 2 weeks between Thanksgiving and the start of Hanukkah. We can ship between 200 and 300 packages a day, each day’s shipping queue fills up quickly. Often by Thanksgiving, we already have the first week of shipping fully booked. The team is already making plans for shipping season to help us ship a few more packages than last year!
