About Our Area

Sugar Hill, New Hampshire is a small, picturesque town with a strong community spirit. It is named after the sugar maple trees that are abundant in this area. Sugar Hill is located in New Hampshire’s scenic western White Mountains area.

The White Mountains is a perfect destination in any season, with a great variety of natural and man-made attractions, recreation and adventure venues, arts and entertainment, historic sites, and shopping. In early summer, the lupines cover the fields and backroads with blue and purple hues, while the Fall foliage envelopes the area in orange, red, and yellow.

Sugar Hill has superb postcard views of the White Mountains that are not to be missed! As you visit our area, you will see picturesque villages, rivers, waterfalls and working covered bridges that still connect both sides of entire villages.

Visit the Franconia Notch Chamber of Commerce website, the Western White Mountains Chamber of Commerce website, and the White Mountain Attractions website for more information on things to do and see and places to eat, shop, and stay.
