2010 Autumn Color

  September 26

View of Sugar Hill this morning. The Meetinghouse steeple is in the left corner of the open field above. Now's the time to come visit the area as there is a lot of color to enjoy.

Today, Barb arrived (from Michigan) with quilts for the Open-Air Market on October 2-3. Harman's may have some of them out for sale during the week.

I was driving from Harman's to Windy Ridge Apple Orchard this morning and sections of the Easton/Sugar Hill Road were very close to peak (or maybe at peak)! I know many of you might find that surprising but in just the last two days, the autumn color has really turned quickly. If you are planning a drive up to our area . . . don't put it off too long.

This photo is from the Sept. 25th entry on the Facebook page of White Mountains New Hampshire: We meandered through Jefferson today ... Route 116 from Whitefield, to Route 2, to Route 115 and sidetrip through Jefferson Meadows. Lovely. If you are on facebook, I recommend "liking" White Mountains New Hampshire to enjoy more daily great photos
