OK, It isn't your typical photo of autumn but I couldn't resist starting fall with a sunset.

Bryan and Suzanne Flagg took a day off from their busy schedules producing the Mountainside Guide and the Northcountry News to hike up Mt. Washington. They didn't see a lot of autumn color but what an awesome shot from the summit of Mt. Monroe! As you can see the autumn color is appearing here and there. If you take the back roads you are apt to find some of our local wildlife like these turkeys.
